H. Price is widely known and it is quoted by many teaching materials in the world. In the paper written by the Price, when the moist curing is stopped, the rate of strength gain slows down as water is lost from the concrete, and further strength gain soon ceases. A 3-day period of moist curing will only allow the concrete to reach 75 to 80% of the potential 28-day strength which can be achieved with continuous moist curing. Furthermore, stored continuously in laboratory air will only allow the concrete reach 45% of the potential 28-day strength. However, it was experimented about 60 years ago, and that concrete material was different from present one.
