In this study, management for a Pre-Intermediate English class at Dept. of Building Technologists is examined to check important elements for English teaching against FD at Institute of Technologists. This study will be the very first step toward systematic FD activities for English classes at Dept. of Building Technologists in the future., 日本の大学では1980 年代から大学教育学会を中心にFaculty Development (FD)に関する議論が始まり、2008 年度からは文部科学省の通達によりFD 活動の義務化が行われた。英語教育におけるFD 活動の取り組みが早い大学では2007 年度に習熟度別クラス編成などが開始されている¹⁾。ものつくり大学では2010 年にFD 推進委員会が設置され²⁾、2011 年の大学機関別認証評価においてもその活動が認識・評価されている3)。本考察の目的は、本学のFD 推進活動の目的や課題を積極的に理解し、2016 年度第2Qに担当したPre-Intermediateクラスの運営内容を、クラス・アンケートをデータとしてFD 活動と照合することにより、自己点検・評価活動の一環4)とするとともに、将来的には建設学科の英語授業運営において組織的なFD活動を行うための第一段階とするものである。},
