| 内容記述 | 本稿は，1975 年に行われたジョン・J・タラントによるピーター・F・ドラッカーへの長時間記録を分析し，その内容が後のドラッカーの思想展開においていかに先駆的な位置を占めるかを論じるものである．この対話は，彼の主著『マネジメント――課題，責任，実践』刊行直後というキャリアの頂点にありながら，その関心がすでに企業経営の領域を越え，政府の機能不全，非営利組織の役割，そして自己のマネジメントといった広範な社会全体のテーマへ向かっていたことを示している．本稿では，この未公開に近い対話記録を読み解くことで，ドラッカーを単なる経営思想家ではなく，社会全体の相互作用を捉える「社会生態学者」として再評価し，その思想の全体像に新たな光を当てる． | |||||

| 内容記述 | This paper analyzes the record of a lengthy 1975 interview with Peter F. Drucker conducted by John J. Tarrant, and discusses its pioneering significance in the subsequent development of Drucker’s thought. The dialogue reveals that, despite being at the pinnacle of his career immediately following the publication of his magnum opus Management: Tasks, Responsibilities, Practices, Drucker’s interests had already expanded far beyond the realm of corporate management to encompass broader societal themes such as governmental dysfunction, the role of nonprofit organizations, and self management. By deciphering this rarely-seen interview, this paper aims to re-evaluate Drucker not merely as a management scholar, but as a “social ecologist” who grasped the interactions of society as a whole, thereby shedding new light on the full scope of his work. |
